I dreamt that I finally went back to Cuba. I saw my grandmother. I was able to give her all the Antiques that I had all the porcelain glasses. I was able to get her a house and near your house a bigger house. I was able to tell her how she saved my life by loving me when I was a child when I thought nobody loved me when I went to live with her at first I slept with her then I stepped in a little room in a low mattress on the floor, and then when I came through the state how I had to work as a child to support myself, but I was able to go back something that I always wanted to do as she was alive she was dead and then I had to leave. I’m sure that everything that I owe and everything that I had I gave to her to make up for what she had lost, and I knew that I could buy more here, but I had saved China dishes and porcelain and just a lot of beautiful wine cheeks that I had I gave to her I wish she was happy and so was I I
Your dream seems to be woven with deeply emotional threads and significant symbolism. Here's an interpretation based on the elements you've shared:
Return to Cuba: Dreaming about returning to a specific place from your life — especially a place like Cuba, if it holds personal history and importance for you — signifies a longing to reconnect with your roots. This may reflect a deep-seated desire to revisit earlier times or to reconcile with aspects of your past.
Grandmother's Presence: Seeing your grandmother in your dream, especially if she passed away, indicates a strong emotional connection and the impact she has had on your life. Grandparents often symbolize wisdom, care, and the traditional nurturing aspect. This encounter suggests a yearning for her guidance or reassurance.
Giving Antiques and Porcelain: The act of giving antiques, especially precious and fragile items like porcelain glasses, represents sharing parts of yourself and your history. It's a symbolic gesture of gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgement of your grandmother’s impact on your life. It could also reflect a sense of wanting to preserve family heritage and values.
Building or Buying a House for Her: A house in dreams often represents the self or the state of one's life. Providing her with a house may illustrate a desire to ensure her comfort and security, possibly indicating unresolved feelings or a wish to express love and caregiving towards her.
Expression of Gratitude: Telling your grandmother how she saved you and expressing gratitude for her love reflects a real-life need or desire to acknowledge sacrifices or love you received. This could suggest a longing for closure or reconciliation with past experiences and people.
Childhood Reflections: Recollections of your childhood hardships and the changes in living circumstances suggest a time of vulnerability and resilience. Sleeping on a low mattress might imply humble beginnings, and sharing this with your grandmother reflects an acknowledgment of your past struggles and growth.
Her Death and Departure: The part of the dream where she dies and you have to leave might symbolize the inevitability of change and moving forward. It indicates acceptance of past losses and the understanding that while physical presence fades, emotional bonds and memories remain.
Giving Everything to Her: This action represents a form of catharsis, indicating your deep respect and gratitude. It might also signify letting go of material attachments in pursuit of emotional fulfillment or honoring relationships that have shaped who you are.
Mutual Happiness: Ending the dream with mutual happiness suggests reconciliation, peace, and emotional fulfillment. It reflects your subconscious desire for closure and assurance that your grandmother's legacy and your actions resonate positively.
Altogether, this dream appears to be a heartfelt meditation on gratitude, legacy, and the enduring emotional bonds with your grandmother. It is an affirmation of her significance in your life and your endeavor to validate her influence through memories, gratitude, and the symbolic acts within the dream.
